Nice; let us know your results!
Going to make this for my mom and aunt Thank you.
Great; be sure to let us know how it goes!
Since this product is most likely to come into contact with water, especially if used in the shower, do you recommend a preservative?
Apreservative, such as ourGermaben ii E, can be used.
How much r Germaben ii E would you recommend to add in the scrub (if you do the same amount above)?
You’d want to add around 0.04 oz of theGermaben ii Eto this recipe. Hope this helps!
what is the shelf life
If stored and used in a cool dry place (away from moisture/water), it can last around 6 months; if you believe it will be exposed to water/moisture (for example, during use in the shower) it would be best to add a preservative for safety.
We have a small house on the beach. Our sinks and showers go to a gray water receptacle. Do you know if oils could cause a problem?
Depending on the oil, possibly; I recommend contacting a qualified plumber who can advise on methods to minimize/eliminate this occurrence.
